Job Description Summary


The Accountant assists in the daily operations of the Bank, participates with the monthly closings, assists with the preparation of the monthly financial reports, and maintains balance sheet schedules and subsidiary ledgers, as well as assists with various special projects.


The Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency of accounting principles
  • Computer skills with Excel and other MS Office software required.
  • Previous general ledger accounting, financial reporting experience preferred.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Be receptive and supportive of change.
  • The ability to resolve routine problems by identifying and analyzing problems logically and comprehensively, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information.
  • The ability to take ownership and show support for work related initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills must be comfortable working within a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
